MissNiya began with the concept of CleanLocs in 2010, and for the last decade has been the first and only SteamBased Loc-Cleaning Salon specifically dedicated to education and deep cleaning the gunk and lint from Locs.

Between 2010 and 2020 CleanLocs was the only salon in Toronto solely focused on Loc Services. By 2015 Master Loctician Miss Niya had accumulated 10,000 hours of Professional Steam-Based Loc-Cleaning, officially defining MissNiya as a Specialist in her field.
