In this classic retold Rapunzel story, Rapunzel now rocks beautiful locs in Africa. It's refreshing to see children literature embracing different cultures. Although this is not a new story it provides a new perspective on how it can relate to different cultures around the world. It opens up the discussion new unique situations that can take place because of diversity and the different struggles that can be faced.
