Mixed-Race Locs

#Toronto is such a diverse city that it isn't surprising that many of my clients are #mixedrace and have varying textures of hair that produce a plethora of exotic Locs.

From blackenese curls with straight ends, to corkscrew curls, to the chocolate brother with the silky ringlets.

Each head of Locs unique and beautiful in its own way.

One of the most common issues for mixed-race Locs is that they unravel easily and sometimes get "loops" or "pregnant" as the curl pattern is looser than those with more tightly coiled hair and tends to bunch up at random.

This makes maintenance confusing for some because of the lack of information available geared specifically at mixed-race hair with Locs.

This misinformation includes the need for wax, gel, string or even false hair.

Mixed-race hair Locs the same way Afro hair does; it just takes a little longer and is subject to a few anomalies like sometimes unraveling or bunching at the wrong time.

#CleanLocs creates #NeatLocs by carefully pulling loose or looped hairs into another area to even out the Loc shaft.

If you or someone you know is having issues with their Locs because of multiple hair-textures, odd curl patterns, loose hairs, loops in the Loc shaft, or just wickedly unruly fly-away hairs, suggest they book an appointment with #CleanLocs today!
